This year looks like it's going to be a very promising year for the Warriors and Lady Warriors!


In the first game of the 2007-2008 season, both teams participated in the Liberty Classic on November 2-3.  The Lady Warriors competed agains Oklahoma City Storm, losing 10-26.  The top scorers of that game were Rachel G. and Jessica C.  The Warriors played Grace Covenant and lost by 24 points.  Joseph S. was the top scorer with sixteen points.  In the second game in the Classic, the girls competed againt Grace Covenant, winning 42-24; Erin M. was the top scorer.  The boys played against Harvest Life, losing 15-42.  Trevor W. had ten points.


For the season opener on November 5, we hosted Trinity Stillwater at home.  The lady Warriorrs won 53-24, with Erin M. and Rachel G. tying for our top scorer with twelve points each.  The Warriors, however, played well, but lost by 44 points, with Trevor W. being the top scorer that evening.


On November 6, we traveled to Oklahoma City to play against the OKC Knights; both teams put up a great fight, but came up short of the victory.  The Lady Warriors lost 23-37, and the Warriors lost 24-55.  Erin M.  was the top scorer with seven points, and Trevor W. was the scorer of the boys' game, putting in nineteen points.


Monday, November 12, the Junior Varsity Lady Warriors traveled to Stillwater, playing against Sunnybrook Christian School.  They won 31 to 14, and the top junior varsity scorers were Lauren P. and MaryKate R.

The next day, the varsity teams played McAlester Christian School.  The Lady Warriors won 59 to 15, and Ann T. was the top scorer with seventeen points.  The Warriors also won, bringing in their first win, 60 to 51! (go, Warriors!).  Trevor W. had 23 points.

Both teams have great potential, and we look forward to many more wins in the upcoming games!
