Our first Sunday Night IMPACT happened!!!  We began with the introduction on Sunday night, February 10.  We brought our books, Purpose Driven Life.  We were instructed to begin reading the book as it is set up as a daily devotional.

Dr. Sam Matthews spoke to us regarding our purpose. It is not to study a book, but to further enlighten us and draw us together as the body of Christ.  We must all find and stand in our place in the kingdom for the next steps that are coming.  He read a prophetic word given recently given by a member of our body as follows:

"It's coming!!!  It's coming, it's coming, it's coming.  Increase is coming!  Increase of souls.  New converts as well as seasoned believers.  Increase of finances.  Yes, it's coming, corporately and individually.  Increase of revelation from this pulpit.  Increase of wisdom for pastor, yes, wisdom!  Increase is coming to all areas.  It's coming, get ready!  And to the worship team, get ready, it's coming, increase is coming.  Increase of skill, increase of anointing, increase of the Glory!  Yes, it's coming. Expand your borders and prepare for the increase.  Assemble your finest, those who for years have been loyal, faithful, and dedicated to the vision. Get ready.  There are things that for years you have prayed and for years you have believed and for years you have spoken the Word and even have shed tears.  And for years you have stood strong and firm in your faith for the vision.  Well, it's coming!  It's coming, it's coming, it's coming!  Get ready!  Get ready.  Prepare.  They are not going to just drive by anymore.  They will be drawn in, yes, even by the Spirit of God.  The highway is open, the way has been made.  So, get ready - prepare - it's coming!  Increase is coming."

So, let me tell us this... this is not a hard thing to do that we are asked to do...read a chapter a day from the book Purpose Driven Life.  The book is set up for a brief reading with a section at the end of each chapter "Thinking about my Purpose."  I want to encourage you to take part in this study.  It's a good thing!
