The Blood – A New and Living Way

Family of Faith College received the enrollment growth award with ABHE, the accrediting association for the college. In a time when Christian colleges and colleges in general are decreasing in enrollment, the college has grown 57% which was the largest in the organization. This has come by way of believing and sacrifice. God has made the turn.

Revelation 3:14-20

There is still a lot of repenting that needs to happen.

If the Body of Christ will overcome in this hour it will be by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony. We have to understand the blood of the Lamb to overcome.

God deliver us from familiarity. Let every Word from God be fresh and alive.

Hebrews 10:1-23, 1 For the law, having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect. 2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? For the worshipers, once purified, would have had no more consciousness of sins. 3 But in those sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year. 4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins. 5 Therefore, when He came into the world, He said:
“ Sacrifice and offering You did not desire,
But a body You have prepared for Me.
6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin
You had no pleasure.
7 Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come—
In the volume of the book it is written of Me—
To do Your will, O God.’”[a]
8 Previously saying, “Sacrifice and offering, burnt offerings, and offerings for sin You did not desire, nor had pleasure in them ” (which are offered according to the law), 9 then He said, “Behold, I have come to do Your will, O God.”[b] He takes away the first that He may establish the second. 10 By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
11 And every priest stands ministering daily and offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. 12 But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, 13 from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool. 14 For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.
15 But the Holy Spirit also witnesses to us; for after He had said before,
16 “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the LORD: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,”[c] 17 then He adds, “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”[d] 18 Now where there is remission of these, there is no longer an offering for sin.
19 Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, 21 and having a High Priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.”

I am going to have confidence to enter! You may not feel like you can enter into the holiest of holies, but you have been invited to come in with boldness because and by the Blood! You cannot get there by yourself anyway. This is where the life and blessings are. Heaven and being at the right hand of the Father is not for some eternal day. It is for now. It is for us now to join with Jesus in seeing the enemy being made our footstool.

The dark is going to get darker and the ugly is going to get uglier, but the righteous will shine.

The lie that the devil gives to us is that we are not worthy. We are NOT worthy but by the blood of the Lamb. The blood is the victory that cries out. There is ZOE life in that victory. God is seeking to get His Body in this place.

New and living way… This blood has created a new and living way into the presence of God. There is a pathway upon which you can walk. It is the pathway of the blood. No matter what hell throws at you, there is a way!

The blood demands the rending of our flesh. The blood accomplishes the rending of the flesh.

We are all priests before God because Jesus is our Great High Priest. We have someone forever interceding for us. Do you believe that God hears the prayers of Jesus? Then draw strength from His prayers. Receive what Jesus is doing on your behalf.

Nothing can destroy the life that is in the blood. Life is in the blood. Because the blood of Jesus is our atonement, it is the most powerful blood.

Release this over your life, “I will get out of here just like Jesus, because He is my life.”

Draw near to Him. It is like when a little child comes up while you are busy with something else and suddenly you look down and they are looking up at you. They have drawn near. Draw near to God.

Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith. He is imputing His victory in our lives.

You can walk free from every evil thing in your life. Be zealous to repent instead of being lukewarm about our sin. Your conscience can be sprinkled by the blood. Most if not every one of us has some kind of thorn in our flesh or “pet sin.” You can be free by the sprinkling of the blood. “I do not have to let this thing control me because I have the blood of Jesus Christ as my new and living way. He has sprinkled my heart with His blood.

If you have had victory in one area of your life, you can have victory over the other things. What do you want to be free of? You flesh has to die/be rent by the blood of the Lamb. I don’t want to stand before God, barely there as of by fire. I want to be there with the greatness of the Blood having worked in my life.

God is waiting on us to receive what he has already done

Revelation 19:6-10, “6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, “Alleluia! For the[d] Lord God Omnipotent reigns! 7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” 8 And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. 9 Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’” And he said to me, “These are the true sayings of God.” 10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

You can really get down with what is happening in the world, but there is an excitement for the things that are unseen.
